Nearly Five Decades Of Experience

The Law Office of Modena & Royce has been practicing law in the Bay Area for over fifty years. The predecessor of Modena & Royce was founded in 1960 by the late Honorable Thomas L. Bocci. Mr. Bocci was the youngest judge to be appointed to the bench prior to his formation of the firm. After founding the firm, Mr. Bocci was joined by Daniel J. Modena. Mr. Modena was an active trial advocate until his death in 2008. Following the death of Mr. Bocci, the firm began to practice as the Law Office of Modena & Royce. Gary Royce joined the firm in 1972 upon his graduation from the University of San Francisco School of Law and has been practicing law ever since. The Law Offices of Modena & Royce practice emphasizes general civil litigation with a focus on Family Law, Probate and Estate Planning, as well as Business Litigation.
